About Heather
Heather Skomski is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience. She provides an integrative, whole-person approach to care, recognizing the connection between mental health, physical health, hormones, lifestyle, and life experiences.

She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, sleep concerns, and life transitions. Heather also has a special interest in women’s mental health, including perimenopause and postmenopause, as well as metabolic health and medication-related weight changes.

Her approach combines thoughtful medication management with evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT-informed techniques, CBT for insomnia (CBT-I), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She focuses on creating personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Heather is known for her warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative style. She creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.
